Junior Marketing/Brand Manager, £40 - £45K Base Benefits and Bonuses (12 Month Contract), Global FMCG Company.
JOB PURPOSE:
Accountable for the on-time delivery to markets of innovation opportunities for global launch.
Supporting Innovation Directors and Innovation Managers on day to day project delivery.
Must display first class influencing and communication skills to help deliver projects through the pipeline to market and in assisting day to day running of the Future Team through diligent management of the team's Innovation and travel budgets.

Our Client has an immediate secondment/contract opportunity for an Junior Marketing/innovation/Brand Manager, based at Weybridge.
This individual will report to the Innovation Director and be primarily responsible for helping to drive our global commercial efforts.
Secondary responsibilities will be to assist in global business analysis and strategic planning across the Team including full budgetary management .
The individual will provide project management support for the end to end commercialization of new product development opportunities, to delivery of the final launch package. ·
Provide input to expedite and finalize PDBs (Product Development Briefs) including quantified commercial data. · - Identify, develop and implement global marketing strategy for assigned projects, leading the delivery of commercialization solution and global launch strategy. ·
Drive to alignment with core team markets (brand teams) and regional marketing teams on launch plans. ·
Lead or assist multifunctional project team on key brand projects as indicated by the Innovation Director, ensuring that all appropriate views are taken into account and all relevant expertise harnessed. ·
Act as project leader on specific projects, where assigned by Innovation Director ·
Assist Innovation and Ideation Directors to insure a balanced portfolio of short (1-2yrs) and long (3-5 yrs) projects to establish a competitive vision board for the brand.
Responsible for the all commercial activities and sub-teams for specified projects.
Assists delivery of commercialization solution (P&L) and global launch package ·
Work closely with relevant team to develop new packaging opportunities for projects ·
Own and deliver specific business requirements that are cross category and not project specific where appropriate
DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE:
Basic Qualifications · BS/BA in Marketing or related discipline,
Marketing experience at brand manager level
Full marketing mix experience and innovation/NPD launch experience
Proven management, project management, business development, presentation and communication skills
Sophisticated marketing skills - ability to identify new business opportunities, ability to analyze the brand, competition and the consumer relationship in order to identify future brand opportunities, as well as overall industry trends.
Track record of contributions to the strategic planning process
Ability to work across matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas · Ability to develop strong working relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects and people to get things done
Track record of building effective relationships with external marketing agencies
