Job Description:
* Admissions Administrator * £10 per hour * 1 month contract with a strong extension to the end of the year * Working in Waltham Forest * Leading Education Support and Improvement Service in the UK
We have 2 positions available for Admissions Administrators who have experience in an education environment. Candidates applying must have strong data entry skills, you will be checking, cross checking and inputting at a very high level.
Duties will include
· Processing applications for pupil coordinated and casual admission and the preparation of appeal papers for the team leader
· Provide advice to schools and parents by email and telephone updating them with information about specific admission
· Accurate entry and assessment of data to determine the admission criteria ranking of each applicant
· To communicate with parents by letter requesting information and sending offer letters
· To assist the admissions team leader and head of service to deliver a benchmark service
Skills & Experience required
· Database knowledge, preferably in a school or LA context handling pupil data
· Knowledge of pupil admissions criteria
· Experience of an admission environment is desirable
