Ideation Manager, £70K - £90K per annum, Global Company, Weybridge Area.
JOB PURPOSE/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the Ideation Director in the development and delivery of the Innovation Pipeline
Acting as a core member of the Team (Commercial, Research & Development, Open Innovation) that will develop the Innovation Growth Targets and Innovation Strategy.
Idea development to business case.
Commercial project management from approval for launch by the Project Management Board.
Working with the Innovation Team to transfer learning and excitement and ensure idea fidelity through to launch.
Work with Ideation Centre of Excellence to ensure a cohesive and common approach to best practice.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Support the creation and delivery of Innovation Strategy and Growth Targets inc. alignment with core markets
Commercial representative (full time) on the project team to insure progress development
Leads and commercial project management of a multi-functional team.
Lead idea development from Insight Investigation, Idea Generation, Idea Development and Volumetric Testing using a mix of Creative Tools / Workshops, Qualitative and Quantitative testing.
Ensuring alignment across variety of different departments to commercial development plan.
Commercial lead on business acquisition or technical licensing.
Building the financial business via volumetric testing to support recommendation.
Commercial lead on the recommendation, ensuring alignment of the R&D, PacX, GMS, Claims Support and Regulatory alignment to the commercial plan.
Support in the development and delivery of Project Kick-off.
Works with the Centre of Excellence to ensure the use and continued development of Best and Next Practice
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum BS/BA in Marketing or related discipline
6-7 years experience in marketing at the manager/supervisor level
Proven leadership, project management, business development, presentation and communication skills
Strategic marketing and innovation - Brand planning, strategic review, competitive and industry analysis, future trends Demonstrated understanding of best practice Marketing, Growth Planning, Strategic Innovation and Finance
Ability to think creatively to deliver breakthrough, exciting ideas that support brands, growth and inspire organizations. Ability to develop strong working relationships.
High level of competency in the design and delivery of an insight driven idea development process.
Flexible, decisive and creative approach to learning and problem solving
Fascination with consumer insight and science/technology.
Ability to communicate, influence and build confidence at a senior level.
