Strategic Operations Manager - Pharmaceutical Marketing is required for this large pharmaceutical research based company based in NW London. This is a great opportunity to join this unique globally successful company who have built a first class reputation over the years.

This role sits within the Marketing Department and has responsibilities for the Commercial Effective business line, proposing budgets, supporting the account planning process, driving 'go to market' activity, leading in the strategic planning process and maximising profitability.

Additional Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure the strategic and tactical development of the offerings within the CE business line to ensure they are fit for purpose, meet customer need, and are relevant given the regulatory and market environment;
* Lead the process for the innovation of new products as well as the planning and delivery of revenue expectation for existing products;
* Responsible for developing and delivering an appropriate internal and external communication plan for the CE business line;
* Must clearly be perceived as, the internal Product Champion for the Business Line, and the obvious 'go-to' person for the Sales and Consulting organisations for all matters related to the Business Line.

Knowledge and Experiences:

* Educated to Degree Level;
* Up to date knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry, ideally having worked in Marketing, Business Information or Market Research;
* Demonstrable working knowledge of marketing pharmaceutical products within the UK pharmaceutical industry ideally in both specialist and primary care medicine;
* Demonstrable experience in the provision of products and services to client organisations, and have knowledge of business to business marketing.

The successful candidate must be:

* Capable of working effectively within cross functional team;
* A creative thinker;
* Results orientated;
* Focus on the here and now as well as the longer term and strategic needs of the business line;
* Effective communicator;
* Used to working in a complex and dynamic environment;
* Must have strong relationships with all the stakeholders of the Business Line, both internal and external.
