Job Description:
* Resource Project Manager * £175 - £225 per day * 6 month rolling contract starting ASAP * role based in Heathrow, Middlesex

Role Overview
The Resource Project Co-ordinator will provide a wide range of support for the resource management function within the IT Resource Group that comprises of approx 150 people.

Key Accountabilities
50% of role
· Receive project managers monthly resource forecasts and input the data contained therein to the Resource Management Access database (this may switch to Excel). Chase project managers who have not submitted an up to date forecast
· Liaise with Resource Group staff to understand what work they have either where this is non capitalised or to confirm the project manager's forecast e.g. where forecasts are showing them as over or under committed
· Identify those resources who have missing time in Oracle and make sure that time is recorded by RG staff within the month and before month end cut off
· Provide Finance with accrual information at month end in respect of contractor time worked but not yet booked by the supplier and resource (permanent and contractor) time that has not yet been booked to Oracle
· Provide management information at month end regarding resource capitalisation i.e. showing the number of days worked and the number of days capitalised and provide information to support monthly supply and demand meetings
30% of the Role
· Monitor contractors who are coming up for renewal within 6 weeks. Review with their projects whether an extension is required. Put together business cases with the project to support requests for contractor extensions. For approved extensions complete the paperwork to advise the Business Support Centre of the extension
· Maintain the Resource Management Access database with any changes to resource availability e.g. record all annual leave and adjust project utilisation accordingly
· Maintain the RG People Excel spreadsheet e.g. to show contractor end dates, actions taken for people etc.
· Maintain the RG Capitalisation Excel spreadsheet
· Maintain the RG Chargeout Rates Excel spreadsheet
20% of the Role
· New starter admin - request IT accounts, prepare paperwork to advise HR, arrange passes, update Resource Management spreadsheets and databases with details of the new starter
· Leavers admin - request closure of IT accounts, advise HR, update Resource Management spreadsheets and databases, make sure that someone will receive the leavers company assets
· Headcount admin - make sure that Resource Group records of headcount are in alignment with information held by HR and Finance
· Book meeting rooms, arrange meetings e.g. for interviews
· Provide administrative support within the recruitment process e.g. arrange interviews

Experience and Skills Required
· Previous experience of working as a senior level administrator without the support of a team
· Previous experience of resource (people) scheduling and supporting people e.g. new starter induction
· Experience of putting together effective processes and in looking at how to improve existing processes i.e. looking for the most effective way to achieve the result
· Good level of appreciation of matters relating to finance e.g. for month end accruals and to help with budgeting
· Competent with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Access
· High degree of accuracy (numeric and verbal reasoning) is essential especially with repetitive tasks e.g. data input
· Ability to work under own initiative and to apply common sense and to resolve issues unsupervised
· High degree of resilience
· Ability to work out how things/processes work
· Ability to prioritise tasks
· Ability to work under pressure
· Good communication skills
· Proactive approach to work e.g. in chasing people and in following up on actions where their input is required
· Ability to question and to understand the bigger picture.
