Claims Advisor, Chertsey, Blue Chip Co. Immediate Start, 11 or 9 Month fixed term contract, Up to £24,000 per annum
Our client who are a global blue chip company are seeking a Claims advisor to work within their established offices in Chertsey. The position is offered at either 9 or 11 months and can be offered with an immediate start.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Management of product liability escalations from contact centre.
Dealing with customers affected by product liability issues & high level customer service complaints
Investigation of the product failures with technical engineers & loss adjusters
Resolving cases in timely manner considering the customer needs & commercial requirements
Working with appointed insurer to manage cases over set franchise limits
Ensuring recovery of costs through head office claim back processes
Helping train call centre & service centre staff on consumer legislation
Key objectives:
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team in providing professional and friendly customer service to our customers.
The department handles escalated cases from our customer contact centres.
To communicate with our customers and service centre's to complete full investigation of cases raised
Gather further information from our contact centre, customers, retailers & loss adjusters to assist the investigation process
Work to tight deadlines with a flexible approach in a busy environment
Communication with senior management in UK & Abroad from time to time
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Ideally educated to A-level or equivalent
Understanding of Product Liability or Insurance claims
Customer Services experience.
Proficient with MS Office applications.
Fast accurate keyboard skills.
Essential Soft skills
i.e. Face to face customer experience, flexible and adaptable, good attention to detail, good negotiation skills, experience of working with different cultures.
Excellent telephone manner
Good communicator and written English skills.
