The Company
A truly innovative automotive component manufacturer, currently seeks a Structures Analysis Engineer. This client is an international 1st Tier automotive supplier whose product specialities include suspension systems, high technology motor sport dampers and instrument panel structures. They specialise in the development of high end motor sport dampers and hinge systems. They require a talented structures engineer to join their hardworking and vibrant team to support the design and development of their products.
The Job
As a Structures Engineer you will be responsible for analysis projects from start to finish.
You will be involved with Finite element modelling, results overview, hand calculations, client liaison, and report preparation.
You will perform kinematics and dynamic simulations using ADAMS. You will correlate analysis predictions and show your test results.
You will be virtual testing a range of products including chassis, suspension, hinges and body systems.
Candidates must have knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and its application to the analysis of mechanical systems. Candidates with experience HyperMesh, ABAQUS or LS-DYNA software.
